What
The swiftly increasing numbers of automobiles on our
roads, and the increased amount of fuel being used by those automobiles, is
rapidly causing the deterioration of our cities. Air pollution and the
associated health problems are just two of a myriad of problems caused by the
automobile. The very infrastructure of our cities is designed around the
automobile, not around people. In fact the Department of Transportation refers
to pedestrians and cyclists as 'traffic flow interrupters'. It is time we
reclaim the streets and our communities for the people,

Events of the Day
Two group bike rides will meet at the intersection of
Boyleston street and the Jamaicaway at 5:45 pm.
