The event will feature activities for all cycling enthusiasts, lycra and wool clad, young and old alike:

The Bicycle Concours d'Elegance features a display of bicycles from all periods -- antiques, balloon tire, prewar track racers, vintage lightweight racing bikes, crate bikes, custom, high-tech and more. There will be juried judging as well as peoples choice awards for the best entrant in each category. Entrants in the vintage lightweight category may participate in a competition with additional prizes to be awarded by Bicycle Classics. If you want to participate in the Concours d'Elegance, you may register day of event from 9AM to 10AM . There is no charge to display a bicycle. Only requirement is all bikes must be displayed on secure stand.

Swap meets are a great way to locate that missing part for your favorite old bike. There will be bicycles, bicycle parts, and literature for sale or trade. Advance registration is required for the Swap Meet- $35 for businesses or $20 for private individuals for each 10X10 space. So, here's a chance to clean out the bike room of all the old Zeus, misc. Campy bits, the old frame set or two...

Manufacturers will demonstrate the latest in bicycle technology. Local advocacy groups will teach you everything from how to fix a flat tire, to what to look for in order to keep your bicycle safe and fun to use. The Ted Wojcik Trials Bike Riders will be on hand for a special demonstration. From learning where to mountain bike to finding out about bicycle touring, there will be something for everyone!

The Show takes place on the beautifully landscaped lawn of the Museum's 19th century Carriage House at Larz Anderson Park in South Brookline.

Admission: $5.00 for Adults. $3.00 Children (6-16), students and seniors (62+). Children under 5 free.

Show time is 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission to the event includes entry to exhibits inside the Museum. Patrons are encouraged to bring a picnic, chairs and blanket, and stay for the whole day. Setup time for Concours d'Elegance and Swap Meet is 9 AM, please NO early birds.
