- OutRiders' 21st Annual Boston to Provincetown Ride
- Saturday, June 18
- The cycling group OutRiders has agreed to donate $1 per rider to
MassBike in support of cycling advocacy. Please consider signing up
for this fun and challenging one day, 130 mile ride!
- They are seeking 300 riders and 60 volunteers for the ride, which
features a kickoff pre-ride event on Friday evening, the ride on
Saturday, and a follow-up Sunday Brunch at the Provincetown Inn: all
for only $60 per rider. For more information, or to volunteer or sign up,

- Mass Red Ribbon Ride
- August 13-14, 2005
- This one- or two-day ride benefits AIDS organizations around the
Commonwealth, and also supports MassBike. Recognizing our advocacy work
to ensure safe roads for their riders, the Mass Red Ribbon Ride is
donating $1 per rider to MassBike. We encourage you to sign up at

- Saturday, August 27, all day, Verrill Farm, Wheeler Rd., Concord.
- Lots of rides, including the Pie Race, sponsored by Northeast Bicycle
Club/Cycle Loft.
- Boston Bicycle Festival
- Sunday, September 25, all day, Franklin Park, Boston
- Join Boston's bicyclists for a festival and rides between the Zoo and
White Stadium in Franklin Park. The Festival web site will soon have more
details. MassBike benefits from registrations.

- Tri-State Trek
- Friday-Monday, July 15-17, 2005
- Boston to New York to End Lou Gehrig's Disease
- The Tri-State Trek is a benefit bike ride from Boston to New York
that raises valuable funds for Lou Gehrig's Disease. Participants ride
a gorgeous New England course with big climbs, long descents and a
ferryboat crossing of the Connecticut River.

- Mass Red Ribbon Ride

- One or two days--50, 75, 100 or all 175 miles--from the Berkshires
to greater Boston. Benefit a statewide collaboration of AIDS organizations
(and MassBike!), challenge yourself and help raise awareness about HIV/AIDS
at the same time! This is the second year of our collaborative ride and we
seek riders, crew and volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities
who want to join our effort.

- 200 Miles for Human Trials: New England Edition
- Saturday-Monday, September 24-26, 2005
- This is a public event to raise awareness and needed funds for
Juvenile Diabetes. The Massachusetts General Hospital and the Iaococca
Foundation are supporting the effort. The 3 day ride will take place on
Saturday, September 24- Monday September 26th of this year. The ride will
start in Stamford, CT continue up the coast into RI along the shore into
Providence and then into Boston, over the Charlestown Bridge to the research
lab for a big celebration rally.
